One of our favorite designers in the Salon is Thread. Their bridesmaid dresses are truly amazing designs that *really * can be worn again and again.

We asked Diane Case from Thread to chat with us a bit about the new collection.......

TRE - What do you see as the trends in Bridesmaid Fashion?

DC - Fun colors, new lengths - girls are loving the new mini dresses. This
includes both the little duchess satin mini
dresses and the chiffon charmeuse mini dresses.

TRE - Can you tell us a little about the new collection from Thread?

DC - Our new dresses are fun and flirty. They are taking over the tradition
dresses. These dresses can definitely be worn
again and again. Girls are going outside the box to find something new and
fun!

TRE - What colors are emerging as best sellers for Thread?

DC - The best colors are now bright and fun. Such colors are sunshine, clover,
tabasco, and many more.

TRE- I love the new wedding dresses, do you have a favorite?

DC - I love the Drew and the McClean. Easy and fun!

Wedding Day Fashion

This past weekend was all about Bridal Fashion in New York City as designers from all over the world descended upon our Metropolis in a Fashion Frenzy.  Twice a year designers showcase their new bridal lines to editors and buyers from all over The United States.  Fashion Shows and Private Showcases were held in boutique hotels, lofts, and NYC headquarters throughout the weekend until late Monday.

As a Salon owner this is such an exciting time, the new collections are refreshing ....and selecting the styles that will be best for our clients is nothing short of blissful!!!

So what did I love? The Badgley Mischka Bridesmaid Line features 9 new dresses - they range from cute to chic and finally stunning and at a fabulous price point.  These dresses will be available in a few short months.  

This Bridal Market we also added new wedding dresses to our existing collections but also brought on several new US and European Design Houses.    I am so excited about these new relationships and am thrilled to introduce the lines to Traci Romano Events [more to come on these.....]

I once did a party with Chris Bracken from Culinary Concerts...he placed mini ice cream cones in a bed of m+m's on a great tray. It was simple and chic.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

It is so hard to believe the new Studio Space has been open for a year!! What a fantastic year it has been. Below is what the space looked like a short year ago when we took it over.....

Our Studio is within walking distance to : SONO Baking Company [ owned by Martha Stewart's John Baricelli], JMcLoughlin, Jamie Collins Photography, Bruce Plotkin Photography, Klaff's Lighting, Chocopologie, The Maritime Aquarium, Sweet Rexie's and tons of other fabulous shops and Restaurants.

World Autism Awareness Day

Tuesday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime.
